F Planning Hand-Crank Generator
It is a hand-cranked generator that can easily generate electricity by turning the handle.
The generator produces direct current electricity, generating a maximum direct current voltage of about 12V. Since it outputs direct current, it can be used in various ways as a substitute for batteries. It is useful for lighting small bulbs, operating motors, and for experiential learning about electricity. The polarity changes with the direction of the handle's rotation. Turning the handle to the right makes the red of the alligator clip positive (+) and the black negative (−). Turning it the other way reverses the polarity. It can also light a 100V bulb. By connecting multiple hand-cranked generators in series, the voltage increases. For example, connecting five in series can yield over 50V, allowing a 100V bulb to be lit.
